GREASE REPLACEMENT

 

 

Daily maintenance includes a periodic gearbox grease replacement for SDS rotary hammer drill. Replace the grease every 40-50 hours of operation.

 

The first sign of grease loss is indicated by weakened percussion. After detecting this, it is recommended to replace the grease.

 

                                                     

 

 

 

 Installation of the SDS-plus working tool

 

1) Clean the rear end of the SDS drill bits to be installed and grease it slightly.

 

2 )Move the lock sleeve ③ back as far as possible and hold it in this position.

 

3) Insert the tool into the rotary hammer's chuck by rotating it until resistance is felt.

 

4）Release the lock sleeve             .

 

5）Check reliability of locking by pulling the tool outwards.

                       

 

 

 

 

 

Removing SDS-plus working tool

 

 

CAUTION: Right after completion of working the tool may be really hot. Avoid direct contact with a tool and wear appropriate protecting gloves.

 

1)Push back the locking sleeve ③ and remove the tool.

 

2)Clean the working tool carefully after removing it from the rotary hammer's chuck.
