No, not all SDS (Slotted Drive System) drill bits are the same. There are different types and classifications of SDS drill bits. Here are some common types:

 

 

 

1) **SDS-Plus:** This is the most common type of SDS drill bit. It features a 10mm shank and is suitable for light to medium-duty applications and smaller diameter holes. Sometimes you will use it when the job doesn't demand a larger hole or when you're working close to the edge. When drilling into reinforced concrete, bits will inevitably encounter more resistance due to rebar and aggregate that are densely packed in.
